#BRISTOLPROMS’ new Rock’n’Roll rep…

As part of his Bristol Proms manifesto, Artistic Director of Bristol Old Vic Tom Morris said he wanted to make classical music accessible and informal. With the Independent and Telegraph reporting today that Tom has had to accept an imposed crowd surfing ban, we want you to join the discussion.

We want to know what your views on audience participation are – Do you have any strong etiquette opinions? In making live classical music accessible, where do we draw the line?

Tom will be on Radio 4’s Today programme tomorrow morning. Tune in from 7am to hear him discuss classical music’s new rock’n’roll rep and whether Bristol Proms’ crowd surfing has a place in the future of audience participatory performances…
